The Process:

This specific painting was about the healing of a relationship between father and daughter. The portrait was pieced together through the letters and conversations they had, one of which was written on toilet paper because that was the only thing at hand. The father was an avid fisherman and provided the handmade flies. A family of artists themselves, all approved of the final painting.
